How our marketing team finally stopped copy-pasting campaign stats and let PocketQuery do the work.
Hey everyone đź‘‹
You know that thing where you run a Mailchimp campaign, and a few days later someone asks, “How did it go?” So you head into Mailchimp, open the report, copy some numbers, paste them into Confluence, fix the formatting… yeah, we’ve all been there.
The Problem: Manual Reporting in Confluence
For a while now, we’ve kept a central Confluence page with all our Mailchimp campaign insights. It was helpful, when we remembered to update it. But it also meant someone had to manually copy-paste the open rates, click rates, bounce rates, and all the other good stuff from Mailchimp into Confluence. Not only time-consuming, but also prone to errors and, let’s be honest, easy to forget when things get busy.

The Solution: PocketQuery + Mailchimp API
To improve this workflow, our colleague Florian implemented a PocketQuery integration that connects directly to the Mailchimp API using our REST Basic Auth configuration.

This allows us to automatically pull campaign data into Confluence without any manual copy-pasting.

Why We Love It
Saves time: No more logging into Mailchimp just to get numbers
Stays current: Data updates automatically - no one has to "remember"
Centralized view: Our whole team can see campaign performance in one place
This small improvement has already saved us time and ensures everyone stays informed. It's a good example of how we’re using our own tools - like PocketQuery - to simplify internal processes.
Marketing teams especially benefit from this setup, as they get real-time insights without any extra manual work.
If you're also tracking Mailchimp performance manually, this setup might be worth considering.
